Football navigation on a phone
A direct route to upcoming fixtures
The Sport landing page combines promotional banners, a booking-code field, Recommended Bets, a horizontal sports ribbon and Top Leagues. Recommended Bets can be collapsed. Below these blocks, Live, Highlights, Upcoming and Outrights separate the event lists.
Opening Upcoming moves to a simpler football view. The sport selector and Leagues button sit above market tabs such as 1X2, Double Chance, BTTS and Total Goals. Filters and an early-payout selector sit over the fixture cards. This is a more compact browsing route than scrolling through the landing page.
The phone view gives each fixture its own card, with time, competition and More Bets. Longer team names can be truncated in the list. The bottom navigation remains visible while scrolling; fixtures and prices in these images are dated examples.
The public side menu
The hamburger button opens a full-height menu. Before login it groups Statistics, Betting Rules and Tips, Insider Blog, Betway Scores App and How To, followed by Live Chat. Odds-format and app-download controls appear lower down.
This menu is useful for supporting information, while the main product navigation stays on the sports pages. Its large cards and spacing make the choices distinct, but the menu is a separate layer that needs closing to return to the fixture list.
Inside a match: groups and market search
The San Carlos–Cartagines example places the fixture time, teams and competition above a horizontal market ribbon. All, Popular, Goals, Totals, Winner, Teams and other categories divide the available markets; a separate Build A Bet tab is also listed.
A magnifying-glass control sits beside that ribbon. The Popular view shows distinct 1X2, Double Chance, Draw No Bet and Total Goals panels, with headings that can be collapsed. The structure makes a long page easier to scan, although the later categories require horizontal scrolling on a phone.
Deposits, withdrawals and the conditions that matter
Payment navigation
The Ghana FAQ directs customers to the Deposits button for available deposit methods and to My Account → Withdraw Funds for a withdrawal. These are separate account functions.
The General terms, read on 5 November, publish a GHS 1 minimum deposit. That general minimum is not a provider-by-provider cashier schedule. The Ghana homepage describes Mobile Money, while the public FAQ gives navigation rather than a table of current wallet limits and fees.
One weakness in the FAQ is its labelling: expanding Mobile Money displayed text about SMS betting, rather than Mobile Money payment instructions. The deposit and withdrawal answers are easier to find under their own question headings.
Withdrawal review, charges and identity checks

These conditions qualify any simple payout-time headline. The two-business-day wording describes the operator’s processing policy; it is not a measured payment result. The identification clause also allows further documents and says that failure to provide requested documents within four weeks may result in account lockout and voided winnings or deposits.

Ghana support and account access
Contact options in one place
The Contact Us page lists live chat, standard-rate calls to +233 30 825 5838 and +233 54 431 5496, X @Betway_GH and OfficialBetwayGhana on Telegram. Its heading advertises availability 24/7/365. Chat also has a fixed button at the bottom of the phone view.
The separate FAQ covers registration, password recovery, betting history and verification documents. Keeping contact channels together makes them straightforward to find, while the FAQ answers provide the paths for common account tasks.
Passwords, records and inactivity
The FAQ describes password recovery by an SMS reset code sent to the registered mobile number. For betting records it gives the route My Account → My Bet, with Open Bets and Settled Bets. Those views concern bets; they should not be confused with a payment ledger.
The General terms classify an account as dormant after six months without a deposit, withdrawal or bet, and state that its funds will be confiscated after six months. This is a significant account condition, especially for someone who intends to stop using the service. The terms list support@betway.com.gh for questions about their provisions.
Self-exclusion and wager limits
The Responsible Gaming page describes an account lock of up to six months through the signed-in profile’s Responsible Gaming section, with automatic unlocking when the selected period ends.
It separately lists support-requested options: a minimum 24-hour cooling-off period, one-month suspension, three-month self-exclusion and permanent closure. Requests go to responsiblegambling@betway.com.gh. For those emailed requests, the page asks customers to allow 48 hours for a response and action; timed account locks and support-requested exclusions therefore have different procedures.
Daily, weekly and monthly wager limits are also described. Decreases are stated to take immediate effect; increases or removal require at least a 24-hour cooling-off period. The page limits their scope to Sport, Live in Play and eSport wagers. Find independent gambling support.
Desktop layout: boxing
The desktop boxing page uses a central fixture column with Fight Winner prices, league and filter controls. A wider sports ribbon and search field sit above it. Recent Big Winners occupies the left column and promotional panels occupy the right; Betslip is accessed from the top navigation. The wider canvas shows several bouts together, but the two promotional side columns leave the central list with only part of the available width.
Ghana operator and licence records
The Ghana terms and footer name Sports Betting Group Ghana LTD, at 32 Castle Road, Adabraka, Accra. They state sports-betting licence GCSB26P6530V and casino licence GCCA26F4809K. These company and licence-number details are published by the operator.
The Gaming Commission of Ghana register, observed on , lists BETWAY for Sports Betting and Online Casino, issued 1 Jan 2026 and expiring 31 Dec 2026. The register rows provide the trade name, activity and dates; they do not display the operator’s company name or those licence identifiers.
Betway alongside 1xBet and betPawa
Betway’s Upcoming view concentrates on fixture cards and a horizontal market ribbon. betPawa’s public website places sport, league, market and date selectors together and publishes a separate deposit-provider list. Our view of the website
Betway’s strongest browsing feature is the direct Upcoming view: compact fixture cards, league controls and market tabs make it easier to focus on an event. The match page then gives the longer market list a clear group structure, and Ghana contact details are gathered on one public page.
The Sport landing page is less economical with screen space because promotions and recommended selections come before the fixtures. The public FAQ also has a misleading Mobile Money heading. Beyond navigation, the withdrawal-review, exceptional-delay and six-month inactivity clauses deserve close attention: they materially affect how the account and payments are administered.
